Hey guys. Just FYI, I had a baby, which is why there has been no activity for a year. I got pregnant last April and had my baby in January and it's been craaaaazy. I will be making more pages after a few more months of getting this parenting biz down. Sorry I haven't kept you informed! Though I have been pretty good about updating people on Twitter.
Looks like you put your heart and soul into your comic best of luck!
Next few pages are a little delayed because I am finishing Ch. 13! I'll have something up by the end of the week, but until then, here's an illustration you may have missed if you don't watch my Twitter or dA accounts.
If you have been following my Twitter, you know I am taking care of a dog unexpectedly that has been the victim of neglect for years. Anyway, what was supposed to just be a weekend has become an extended issue, since I found she had a life threatening hernia and opted to have it removed surgically. She's sort of eating now, finally, and she goes to the doctor to get her stitches out tomorrow, so I think things will be easier after that. We're not sure if she's going to go back to her owners, who have sworn they feel bad for locking her up for so many years, or if she's getting a new home (possibly with us...). Since her owner is a family member on my husband's side, it's been a sticky situation. While I have been working on digital art and sketches for the Kickstarter related things, I have hesitated to do comic work since it takes a bit more concentration and I have to use ink and sharp things, and this dog is not well disciplined and very distracting because she'll try to tug at her stitches, refuse to eat, pee on blankets, etc.
Anyway... what this means is, there's going to be some delays in releasing pages until this situation is resolved. Moral is: Don't get a pet if you cannot properly care for the animal or don't intend to make them part of your family. My dog is not just "my dog", he's a member of my family, so I can't fathom putting him in a cage and essentially forgetting about him for close to five years.

For those of you who wanted to back the Kickstarter but missed it the first time, I'm doing Slacker Backer through November! If you'd like to make a last-minute pledge, you can message me here or on Kickstarter for more info.

I'm going to be in North America this summer for six cons! I'll be tabling at two and a guest at the others, so cons where I am a guest will also have panels and workshops that I lead. If you are in the area, come check it out!
