At Tapastic, we believe in the profound effects a story can have on us and the incredible value we as readers can take away from them if presented in the right manner - as great as books may be, not many of us have the time to sit down and read Stephen King nowadays. While we aren’t implying that it’s time to pull away from the classics, we do believe that there is a more entertaining way of consuming content: Visual Stories. That’s what Tapastic is built around and that’s what we are excited to share with all of you!

It’s really a simple concept when you think about it. We’re taking the stories we’ve come to love and presenting them in a graphical format. Some people would like to call these "web comics" but we disagree. Our stories cover all things in life; that which we can relate to and that which we can only imagine. We can’t shape the world as much as we’d like to (we’ve tried... trust us) but what we can do is provide a platform for everyone to take a few minutes out of their day and relax with beautifully created and articulated stories . Well - unless we’re talking about Awkward Andy but if you’d met the guy you’d know what we mean.

What does this mean for you as the reader? Anything you want it to! We aren’t asking you to invest hours and hours analyzing our stories for hidden meanings... but you can if you want to. We’re just making sure that what we work on and create drives real meaning in your life. We can’t begin to presume what that meaning will be and frankly, we are artists, writers, and graphic designers - not psychologists - and we are fine with that. As long as our content drives meaningful interactions for you the reader we feel like our job has been done.
